In a U.S. Army test center the size of Rhode Island, missile and ammunition testing takes place every day. The testers’ jobs are to witness what actually happens with the trials, but the danger, noise level and intensity prevents them from being physically close to the weapons. Sequoia Routers from Sierra Video Systems, a Kramer Electronics Company, in conjunction with an intricate fiber-optic system provide a close-up view of the tests and the results – from a safe distance.

Four F20 sx+ projectors from projectiondesign have been selected, installed and integrated by European partner Antycip Simulation for use in a new synthetic environment trainer at the Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering (DCAE) COSFORD, located in Shopshire, UK Three of the projectors are being used on a 150-degree wraparound screen in conjunction with a CompactUTM digital correction system from 3D perception, which allows for edge-blending, warping, and precise colour-matching of the projectors. The fourth unit is used as a hot spare.
